Having a Digital Ball
TechBridge’s annual Digital Ball fundraiser, held May 10 at the Georgia World Congress Center, raised nearly $1.2 million in cash and in-kind donations to further the TechBridge mission — to help nonprofits use technology to better serve our community. Ninety-four corporate sponsors, led by presenting sponsor Accenture Ltd., participated. Other key sponsors included Microsoft Corp., The Home Depot Inc., Cisco Systems Inc., IBM Corp., The Coca-Cola Co., SAP AG and AirTran Airways.
Outgoing TechBridge CEO Jack McMillan was honored for his five years of leadership. During his tenure, TechBridge steadily grew the number of nonprofits served, continuously improved the quality of its work, and saved nonprofits about $4.5 million in fees for technology services from 2003-2008.
