Solomon Viera

As General Manager of the managed services group at NPower NY, Solomon Viera is responsible for managing all aspects of IT Basic, from strategic planning to tactical activities. He drives the growth strategy for the group.

Before joining NPower NY, Solomon served as Vice President & Chief Information Officer for Developing Markets Operation (DMO) â€" Xerox Corp. He was responsible for leading global IT initiatives critical to enabling an integrated business model across the globe. Additionally, he led the Enterprise Applications Group where he provided strategy direction on Xerox's ecommerce web site, web development and financial systems across the enterprise.

Solomon is no stranger to the area. Prior to moving to Rochester, he attended NYU, and lived and worked in New York City, working for organizations like Chase Manhattan Bank, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, NMB Bank and Carnation Corporation where he led strategic technical initiatives including Global Messaging, Mobile Computing and Information Security.

Solomon is a die-hard Yankees fan and in his spare time he enjoys hiking, golfing and the martial arts. Solomon, his wife and two children currently live in Rochester, NY and are excited to move back into the NYC area.
