Microsoft
Microsoft Corporation is a founding supporter of NPower. In 2006, the world technology leader renewed its commitment to the future of the NPower Network with a $5 million national challenge grant – the largest in NPower's history.
Microsoft and its local employees in New York City have also been staunch supporters of NPower’s TSC Program. TSC students often use training materials donated to NPower by Microsoft Unlimited Potential (UP), a key TSC program funder. Microsoft employees frequently serve as volunteer TSC instructors, and students visit Microsoft as part of their Workshop Wednesdays professional development program.
“Microsoft believes with the right tools and training, people can create new economic opportunities for themselves and their communities. We applaud and support all the work of NPower, but especially its TSC program to engage disconnected urban youth in lifelong IT careers, nonprofit leadership and community service.”
Andrea Taylor, Director, Community Affairs, US/Canada, Microsoft Corporation
