Diverse thought fosters innovation, which is why NPower’s Command Shift Coalition recently launched the Diversity Directive. This groundbreaking resource was created to provide guidance, strategies, relevant case studies, and more to meet companies where they are on their DEI journeys.

Pride Month, which comes to an end this week, is a time to celebrate the moments in queer history that sparked activism and progress toward equality. One piece of history that frequently gets lost is the fact that many of these defining moments were only made possible by Black and brown LGTBQIA2S+ activists fighting for their liberation.

This month, as we commemorate the anniversary of Command Shift, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have embarked on. We owe so much of our progress to enter and advance women of color in the tech industry to the unwavering support of our esteemed coalition members. 

This National Volunteer Month, we celebrate the hundreds of volunteers and their commitment to joining the Command Shift Movement and accelerating more women of color in tech.
