On the wall in my house is a large sign that says “Gratitude.” It’s a reminder to me each day to be grateful for the many blessings in my life. This theme couldn’t be more relevant as I reflect on the past year and Command’s Shift’s incredible growth and myriad achievements.
The inaugural issue of The Command Center, is a monthly update of Command Shift’s work with NPower’s partners, advocates, allies, and other supporters to take action and accelerate more women of color in technology.
This is a special month at NPower. We are celebrating and spotlighting volunteerism across the country. For those of you who give your time, talent and counsel to NPower students and graduates, we thank you.
