Command Shift is shaped by the women we seek to serve – women who have the skills to enter tech but may not have a college degree or access to formal technical training. The Command Shift Alumni Council is a dynamic group of women who have entered tech through a nontraditional path and as future technology leaders are the voices that will create this shift in the tech industry.
Join us on March 29th at 12:00 pm ET to hear from several members of the Command Shift Coalition Alumni Council as NPower graduates share their experiences as women of color in tech along with actionable strategies for how companies can recruit and retain women of color in tech. Register to attend as we celebrate Women of Color in Tech Day | #WOCinTechDay2023 on March 29th and continue to support #shatteringtechbarriers through #RealTechTalk to prioritize and advance women of color to enter, persist, and thrive in tech.

This virtual event featured a pair of energizing conversations on how women of color are ready, in plain sight, to transform the tech talent pipeline into a dynamic ecosystem of diverse talent.
Command Shift, NPower and Emsi Burning Glass shared an early look at new data coming out this spring, using skills mapping to identify 250,000 women of color with foundational skills and transferable work experience, who in a matter of months and with a level of additional technical training, could join the tech workforce.
“This is actionable data. Not just data for the sake of data.”

VP Talent Acquisition and Diversity Equity and Inclusion,
Comcast NBCUniversal and Command Shift Steering Committee Member
