Just Released: TCS's New Insight Report “Leading in a New Beginning"

Recommendations to adapt to a changing education landscape in North America in Response to the COVID-19 pandemic"

Longtime NPower partner, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is an action-leader across the IT services industry. Their commitment to empowering people and communities in the digital economy is a shining example of true corporate social responsibility. TCS’s serves as a consistent resource to inspire smarter work. Their recent insights report provides clear recommendations for educators, at every level, to adapt to the changing needs of an education landscape during and after a global pandemic.

At NPower, we continue to innovate and find ways to make our program more engaging for remote learning environments. TCS’s findings are a valuable roadmap for adapting to this new normal. The report is a worthy read for any education or training organization.

Key action areas include:

1. Maximize Student Learning – Focused attention, resources, and well-considered actions are critical to maintaining a consistent student learning experience.

2. Build Strong Support Systems for Educators and Staff – The role of educators has never been more important. Oftentimes, it is the education system that supports a student’s daily routine. Educators and staff drive engagement, personal connections, and learning continuity, even in a virtual environment. Keeping them healthy, protected, skilled and well-trained in related technology will keep more students on track. At NPower, we recognize that it is our regional teams and incredible instructors that allow our students to thrive, even in the midst of a pandemic.

3. Bridging the Digital Divide and Creating Access to Technology – The global pandemic shifted millions into new online-only learning environments. For many, this was not as simple as staying at home. Access to compatible hardware and a reliable internet connection are a persistent barrier to reaching remote learning platforms. By bridging the digital divide, we can create equitable access for all.

Mentoring Matters
